While some people love digging into the details and others prefer the view at 30,000 feet, to effectively grow your business you need both. Shehnaz is uniquely passionate and skilled at both. She is a brand storyteller – first connecting with consumers to uncover detailed insights and then using those insights to create thoughtful, high-level brand and new product strategies that enable clients to grow and strengthen their brands in this constantly changing world. Shehnaz has 30+ years of corporate experience in brand management, market research, and strategy, across various consumer goods categories, with particular expertise in kid/mom/family targeted brands - including toys, juvenile products, collectibles, nursery decor, food & beverage, giftware and preschool entertainment. Shehnaz works in close partnership with clients to build brands that stand the test of time while keeping up with the times.
Shehnaz brings enthusiasm and energy to every situation. She earned an MBA in Marketing from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and is a Burke Institute certified focus group moderator. In her spare time, Shehnaz is on the Board of Directors for Kids In Danger (KID), a non-profit organization focused on saving lives by improving children's product safety. To stay active, Shehnaz trains in Tae Kwon Do, which was the inspiration for her approach to building long-lasting brand excellence. She is a 2nd degree black belt, training towards 3rd degree. Shehnaz lives in the greater Chicago area with her family.
